Description
The sweetest thing on your desk.
Peep is a small glowing duck with a face that is impossible to be annoyed at. Switch it on and it sits there quietly beaming — on a desk, a bookshelf, a windowsill, or beside your bed. Small enough to disappear into a bag, and charming enough that people will ask where you found it.
At a glance
- Small and collectible — 6 cm tall, roughly the size of a golf ball
- A soft warm glow, gentle enough to leave on as you fall asleep
- Duck or chick — collect both, or line up a row of them
- The kind of small gift people actually keep
The detail
Peep runs on two small button cells, included and tucked into the base, so there is no cable and nothing to plug in. The glow is a single fixed warm tone — it does not change colour and it does not dim.
Worth knowing
Peep is an ornament that glows rather than a lamp. It casts a soft light around itself, which is lovely on a nightstand or a shelf, but it will not light a room and it is not meant to.
A note on the batteries. Button cells are small and must be kept away from young children and pets. If swallowed they can cause serious internal injury. Peep is a decorative piece for desks and shelves, not a toy.
Shipping & Delivery
Shipping is free on every order, worldwide, with no minimum spend.
Estimated delivery is 1-2 weeks from the day you order. A tracking number is emailed to you once your order is on its way — please allow a few days after dispatch for tracking to become active.
Delivery estimates can be affected by customs, local carriers, holidays and weather. Any import duties are set by your local authorities and are the customer's responsibility.
Care & Safety
Cleaning — Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid solvents, alcohol and abrasive cleaners, which dull acrylic and painted finishes. Never clean a piece while it is plugged in or switched on.
Power — USB-powered pieces are designed for a standard 5V supply; use a reputable phone charger or powered USB port. Rechargeable pieces last longest when they are topped up regularly rather than run flat and left empty for long periods.
Batteries — Where a piece uses button cells, keep both new and used cells away from children and pets. If swallowed they can cause serious internal injury. Seek medical attention immediately if a cell is swallowed.
Placement — Unless a product is described as suitable for outdoor or covered-outdoor use, treat it as an indoor piece. Keep lights away from water, direct heat and soft furnishings that could trap warmth.
LEDs — The LEDs in these pieces are integrated and rated for years of normal use. There are no bulbs to buy or replace.

Pairs well with
Not sure which piece suits the room?
Tell us the room, the corner, and the hour you plan to use it. We will tell you which of our lights fits — and, just as usefully, which one doesn’t. No obligation to buy anything.
AFTER NINE
The only light in the house you actually chose.
Daylight arrives without being asked. The overhead ends the evening the moment it comes on. The third light — low, warm, aimed at one corner — is the only one anyone decides on, and the one a room is remembered by.
Everything we carry is for that hour. Nothing here is built to light a whole room, and we say so on every page rather than leaving you to find out.
Not all ambient lights are the same.

Some came a little crushed (deformed), but it's not that noticeable. Other than that, very nice.

It arrived on time, looks very nice, charming, my only complaint is that it runs on batteries, I wanted it to put inside a fish tank, but I still like it a lot.

The night light has a cute design and is well-crafted in terms of painting and shape. It is made of hard plastic and therefore very sturdy in its form.
Unfortunately, my little lamp has a loose contact. The battery compartment is quite large for the small batteries. Even with minor movements, contact with the batteries is interrupted, causing the light to flicker. Sometimes it even turns off completely, and you have to readjust the batteries first.
All in all, it is a very nice product and completely fine for the price.
C
Beautiful
P
Although the light itself is small, the quality is super good and it illuminates very well, it's worth it plus the price is very reasonable.
K
Pretty, cute, shines very brightly.
M
It's pretty, really. And it gives more light than I thought.
H
The truth is that it is smaller than I expected, but the measurements match the description. Very nice nonetheless, and when illuminated it looks great.
