At 30 cm across it reads as a real object rather than a gadget. The smooth glass-like shade diffuses the light evenly, so there is no harsh bulb and no glare — just a low, even warmth that makes a room feel finished.
Halo is an ambient light. At full brightness it gives a room a warm, even glow, but it is not intended to replace an overhead light or to light a room for reading or close work.

Cleaning — Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid solvents, alcohol and abrasive cleaners, which dull acrylic and painted finishes. Never clean a piece while it is plugged in or switched on.
Power — USB-powered pieces are designed for a standard 5V supply; use a reputable phone charger or powered USB port. Rechargeable pieces last longest when they are topped up regularly rather than run flat and left empty for long periods.
Batteries — Where a piece uses button cells, keep both new and used cells away from children and pets. If swallowed they can cause serious internal injury. Seek medical attention immediately if a cell is swallowed.
Placement — Unless a product is described as suitable for outdoor or covered-outdoor use, treat it as an indoor piece. Keep lights away from water, direct heat and soft furnishings that could trap warmth.
LEDs — The LEDs in these pieces are integrated and rated for years of normal use. There are no bulbs to buy or replace.
